Guest Bio

Merv Hilpipre started auctioneering at the age of 5 and has been in the business for more than 83 years. He founded the Hilpipre Auction Company in Waterloo, Iowa more than 55 years ago and has done more than 5000 auctions in the US and Canada. He won a world championship in auctioneering in 2004 and is also a world record holder and hall-of-famer in sled dog racing.
